Shamrock Club Sports - Irish Athletic Pride

The Shamrock Club is a sponsor of two sports teams, the Milwaukee Celtic Soccer Club, and the Shamrock Club Griffins of the Milwaukee Hurling Club. The Milwaukee Celtic Soccer Club is the only Irish soccer club in Milwaukee. The Griffins are a part of the Milwaukee Hurling Club, the largest hurling club in North American.

The Shamrock Club is a proud sponsor of the Milwaukee Celtic Soccer Club. The Celtics play under the Shamrock Club's green and white logo and colors. we play in WASA First Division.

The Milwaukee Celtic Soccer Team recently finished its spring season, where we took first place in the WASA First Men's division. Our fall season starts September 12, with the First Division and the Reserve Teams. Our Fitrst Division matches are all played at Polonia Field, 10600 W Loomis Road, on Sundays.

We play in the Shamrock Club colors, and are members of the Shamrock Club, so please come out and let everyone know you are backing the Irish.

Pales Ales Sticks and Stouts

Like poetry, music, and dance, the ancient sport of hurling and the art of brewing are also a part of Ireland’s vibrant culture – so it seems only natural that the Milwaukee Hurling Club’s 5th Annual beer tasting fest, “Ales, Pales, Sticks & Stouts”, will feature at least two of these – bands and brews!

Come to the historic Hoyt Park Grand Hall and enjoy samplings of more than 50 varieties of ales, lagers, and porters from across the state and around the world, along with hearty helpings of autumnal soups, stews, and more, courtesy of McBob's Pub and Grill, and County Clare. You’ll rock n' reel to local Celtic rockers Whiskey of the Damned and Atomic Whiskey Test too!
