BRINGING IRISH CULTURE AND HISTORY TO MILWAUKEE AND WISCONSIN FOR 6 DECADES

In 1960, The Shamrock Club of Wisconsin started a revolution in the life of Irish Wisconsin. The organization started small, but eventually became the wellspring of Irish life and culture for much of Milwaukee and the State of Wisconsin. Where there was a void in the cultural side of life, soon the Shamrock Club would fill it with parades, Irish dancing, an Irish festival, scholarships, and so much more.

Our Gallery

The Shamrock Club is a storied organization. We started Irish dance in Milwaukee, were the original sponsors of the largest Irish music and cultural festival in North America, started a cultural center, awarded $45000 in scholarships since 1974, and were pioneers in chartered travel to Ireland in the 1960’s.

We have soared to amazing heights, and, six decades later, will continue to reach new heights.

Follow Us and Join Us Each Month on the First Thursday

The Shamrock Club was founded to unite the Irish and Irish American communities of Wisconsin, and to develop a sense of culture and history in 1960.

We are proud of our accomplishments in the past,  present, and into the future.

From Irish dance, Irish scholarships, a large Irish festival, and our annual St. Patrick’s day events, the Shamrock Club has been and is an integral part of the Irish-American community and culture.
